Panel mounts are generally used in industrial applications. More specifically, they can be used in any equipment that is used by employees rather than the public. They typically are quite compact and house a small diameter paper roll ideally suited for applications where a high volume of printing is not required. Panel mount printers have front access for paper replacement, thus not requiring the equipment to be opened. For equipment used by the public, or for applications where large printing volume requires a large paper roll, see the Kiosk Printer section.
